GARDENDALE, AL (WAFF) -
The former pastor accused of killing his wife and injuring his daughter has been released from the hospital.
Gardendale Police said 54-year-old Terry Greer was released from UAB Hospital Monday. He was transported to the Jefferson County Jail where he is charged with murder and attempted murder. He has no bond.
According to investigators, Greer shot his wife, 52-year-old Lisa Greer, and his daughter, 18-year-old Suzanna Greer, with a pistol at the Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church parsonage.
When they arrived on scene, officers found Greer in a bathroom and had to stop him from stabbing himself. He was taken to UAB for treatment.
Lisa Greer died at the hospital the next day, and Suzanna was treated and later released.
