MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
One person was seriously injured in a Madison County wreck, Monday morning.
State Troopers on the scene said a Volkswagen Beetle ran a red light and was hit by a dairy truck at the intersection of Jeff Road and Capshaw Road around 11 a.m.
The wreck knocked out a utility pole.
The driver of the Beetle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. There's no word if the driver of the truck suffered injuries.
