Morristown, TN (WFIE) -
The photo of a Liberty Tax waver has gone viral.
Liberty Tax says they are very proud of Jesse Howerton, a first year waver at their Morristown, Tennessee office.
They say Jesse exhibited great respect and kindness for the folks in his local community by simply being respectful enough to stop what he was doing and kneel to acknowledge a passing funeral procession.
A simple gesture that meant so much to the sister of the man who had passed that she took a picture.
Liberty Tax franchisee Mark Stewart spoke about Jesse's actions and the subsequent post and he says that he has also received several phone calls and people stopping in to say thank you to Jesse, including the man's father and his widow.
Liberty Tax says one of the principles at the business is: Be honest, show respect and have integrity.
