On Friday, Mar. 1, 2013, at about 2:40 p.m. Montgomery Police and Fire Medics responded to the 900 block of Air Base Boulevard on a report of a subject shot. There they located the victim, 21-year-old Darium Hill, of Montgomery, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Hill was transported to Baptist Medical Center South and was later pronounced dead.
MPD's initial investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from an argument. No arrests have been made at this time. This investigation is continuing, and no further information is available for public release.
This is Montgomery's 11th homicide of 2013.
