NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -
Detectives are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 19-year-old man in connection with a shooting in Nashboro Village on March 1.
Terrell Lamont Booker is accused of having taken part in the critical wounding of a man on Village Green Drive.
Arrest warrants charging Booker with attempted murder and attempted especially aggravated robbery have been issued.
An investigation shows that Booker and another man came to the apartment of Jerome Perkins, 20, to sell marijuana.
Perkins opened his door and was reaching for money when Booker and his accomplice tried at gunpoint to rush inside, said police.
Perkins managed to shut the door. A shot was then fired into the apartment which struck Perkins in the neck.
Anyone seeing Booker, who is last known to have lived on Wildwood Drive in south Nashville, is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
