DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Decatur police arrested two people after a month-long investigation.
The special operations unit went to check out an apartment on Acadia Drive in Decatur, Thursday.
Kiandra Marquez Thomas and Katelyn Mae Siple were arrested after officers found marijuana and prescription pills inside.
Thomas was charged with unlawful possession of marijuanaand four counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance. He is in the Morgan County Jail under $22,500 bond.
Siple was placed under arrest for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. She's also in the Morgan County Jail under at $2,500 bond.
