LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
A man was airlifted to a hospital, after an early morning truck crash in Limestone County.
Deputies said the crash happened around 2:15 a.m. Friday on Bethel Road, just east of Highway 251.
According to investigators, the truck was going west when it left the road, causing the trailer to come loose. The truck then crossed over and left the road on the other side, finally coming to a stop against an embankment.
Emergency responders say the man lost a lot of blood. A medical helicopter flew him to the hospital.
