Stolen car from Ohio found in Nashville driveway

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A stolen car from Ohio was found sitting in a driveway Wednesday morning in Nashville.

The car was found in a driveway in the 3900 block of Devonshire Drive.

After police ran the license plate, they discovered the 2008 Chevy Cobalt was reported stolen.

Officers knocked on the door of the home where a man, Dusty Garrison, answered. 

Police found the keys of the vehicle in his pocket. Garrison told police the car belonged to his girlfriend, and he was just borrowing it.

Garrison is charged with theft of property.
