HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
A Huntsville High student was injured after being hit by a truck.
Huntsville Police said the 16-year-old male was hit after he ran in the middle of Harvard Road.
Authorities said the teen
darted into oncoming traffic as he was running down the street while training
for the track team.
Investigators said the
truck driver will not face any citations.
He was taken to Huntsville Hospital. Police said he suffered a broken leg and knocked several teeth out.
Harvard Road was blocked off between Longwood Drive and Governors Drive.
