HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc head coach Glenn Detulleo made one move at the trade deadline sending forward Brett Liscomb to the Fayetteville FireAntz in exchange for forward Mike Gurtler.
"We're excited to add Mike join our organization," Detulleo said. "We expect him to come in and add some immediate help offensively to our lineup."
Gurtler has played in 44 games for the FireAntz this season and scored 15 goals and added 10 assists. The Rochester, New York native also played 26 games in the CHL and the ECHL where he scored two goals and added five assists. He played in 138 games at Mercyhurst College from 2007-2011 where he scored 44 goals and recorded 54 assists.
Liscomb had played in 25 games for the Havoc since being claimed off waivers from Louisiana. He scored six goals and had 11 assists for Huntsville after scoring two goals and recording two assists in 15 games for the Ice Gators.
The Havoc host two big home games this weekend when the Augusta RiverHawks visit Breland Homes Ice on Friday night and the Pensacola Ice Flyers on Saturday night.
