MOULTON, AL (WAFF) -

A former Moulton police officer accused of beating two 8-year-olds will appear in court next month.

Investigators arrested Mitchell Breland in September after an investigation by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation.

Breland has a pretrial hearing set for April 30 at the Lawrence County Courthouse.
