DEKALB COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Three people were arrested on drug charges after they were found sleeping on the front porch of a DeKalb County church.
Sheriff Jimmy Harris said deputies responded to a domestic dispute call just south of Fyffe. Whey they arrived, the suspects had already left the scene.
Deputies searched the area, and discovered the three suspects asleep on the front porch of a nearby church.
Brandon Mark Phillips, 25 of Fyffe, Tosha Samara Bell-Gilreath, 28 of Scottsboro, and Jennifer Renee Sanders, 27 of Valley Head, were arrested and transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center.
Phillips was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs and traffic warrants. Bell-Gilreath was charged with unlawful possession of prohibited beverage, and Sanders was charged with unlawful possession of prescription drugs.
