Rain is back in the forecast as we start the new work week. Much of the day will be dry, with just a few showers around this afternoon. Windy and mild weather is expected with highs in the upper 50 to low 60s. The wind will pick up out of the east today around 10-20mph.
Steadier rain will push in this evening with a few rumbles of thunder overnight. No severe weather is expected. The chance for rain is 100%. We will also stay very windy tonight. A Wind Advisory is in effect with southeast winds around 20-30mph expected. Winds could gust over 40mph at times tonight. Steadier rain will end by morning with just some spotty showers around tomorrow. Highs will be in the mid 50s.
Quieter weather returns by midweek, but a much colder weather pattern will establish itself for the remainder of the week and through the weekend. Highs will settle back in the 40s starting Thursday and continuing through Sunday. Overnight lows will be mainly in the 20s by the end of the week. A little moisture will move through at times through the weekend giving us a couple of chances of snow flurries, however at this point, it doesn't look like we'll see anything more than that.
Have a great Monday!
