DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Decatur police are investigating the death of a man who was found dead in his car.
Police responded to the 300 block of Courtney Drive around 2:30 a.m. Monday.
Officers found Mark Ross Veneigh of Decatur, who they said had been shot in the head.
Investigators say there was another person in the car when Veneigh was shot.
Investigators said they are not ruling anything out as of yet, but said it's being investigated as a possible suicide.
Veneigh's body has been sent to Huntsville for an autopsy.
