ATHENS, AL (WAFF) -
The former state trooper charged in connection to a fatal wreck will go to trial in the spring.
James Heath Moss faces two counts of criminally negligent homicide.
Investigators say Moss was responding to another accident when he hit a vehicle on Lucas Ferry Road in Limestone County.
That car ended up on fire in a field. Sarah and Lee Gossett died in the crash.
Moss will go to trial April 29 at the Limestone County Courthouse in Athens.
