A Madison County health inspector handed the Chopsticks Asian Grill on University Drive in Huntsville an 84.

The health inspector reported a cook smoked then went back to cooking without washing his hands.

The cook also grabbed rice with his bare hands and put it on a plate for a customer. The inspector also reported the cook did not wash his hands before putting on gloves, and when they finally did wash their hands, it was not with hot water.

The Alana Shay Café located inside the Doubletree Suites in Huntsville scored an 81.

The health inspector reported chicken, cheese and butter were stored in a walk-in cooler above the maximum temperature required to prevent bacterial growth in cold-holding foods. The food items ranged between 46 and 61 degrees Fahrenheit. The limit is 41 degrees.

The inspector also noted that the dish machine wash and final rinse temperatures were not hot enough.
