ATHENS, AL (WAFF) -

The trial for the Limestone County man accused of killing his grandmother has been delayed until June 10.

James Paul Pigg was supposed to go to trial for the murder charge next week.

Pigg is accused of shooting Barbara Delaney and beating her with a hammer.

Pigg lived with Delaney not long before the murder. The week before Delaney was killed, Sheriff's deputies served Pigg with an eviction notice.
