A Lauderdale County judge denied a child pornography suspect's request for lower bond.
Matthew and Patricia Ayers face charges including child pornography, sexual abuse and rape. Both remain in the Lauderdale County Detention Center on bonds of $1 million each.
Matthew Ayers asked a judge to lower his bond. The judge denied that request.
Court documents state electronic equipment found at the couple's home on Lauderdale County Road 298 contained numerous pictures of a young girl being molested. Those documents stat Matthew Ayers was the individual performing the sexual acts on the child.
