FRANKLIN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Franklin County will soon get more weather sirens.
Commissioners approved a bid that would add four additional
weather sirens in the county, bringing the total to 29 sirens countywide. These
additions are part of FEMA'S Hazard Litigation Grant Program.
The sirens will be placed in Halltown at the Frankfort Volunteer
Fire Department in the East Franklin Community and the Beth-Saide Community.
Franklin County will soon get more weather sirens as part of a FEMA program.
