GADSDEN, AL (WAFF) -
Gadsden Police arrested two people on attempted murder
charges Tuesday.
Officials said they arrested a 17-year-old male and
18-year-old Ciara Collins for the February 18 shooting of Tavarius Perkins.
Investigators said someone knocked on Perkins door Monday afternoon.
Perkins was met by a masked offender holding a gun. When Perkins tried to shut
the door, the offender shot him in the face.
Officials said the shot hit him in the cheek.
Perkins was taken to Gadsden Regional with non life
threatening injuries.
Both suspects are being held in the Etowah County Jail.
