MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
A fire put a local family out of their house Tuesday night.
The fire broke out at a home on La Newby Drive off Harvest Road in Madison County.
When firefighters arrived, flames were coming from the house.
It took them 15 minutes to knock down the fire.
The home sustained heavy fire and smoke damage.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
