MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Several fire fighters responded to a house fire in Morgan County Sunday night.
Officials said the fire started in the chimney at a home on 117 Leaning Pines Drive.
Fire fighters said the fire quickly spread to the attic, but they were able to get it under control.
A neighbor said they saw smoke and flames coming from the house and called 911.
People were inside the home at the time but no one was hurt.
The roof sustained major damage.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
