SHEFFIELD, AL (WAFF) -
Twelve people are without a home after an early morning fire at a Sheffield apartment building.
Sheffield Fire Department responded to the fire around 3 a.m. Saturday on 10th and Park Boulevard. Witnesses reported heavy smoke and fire.
Firefighters said the building was a two story house with a basement and had 10 units. All of the units were occupied. A tentative count indicated 12 people were displaced.
