Court documents reveal new information about a woman killed in Morgan County on Valentine's Day.
Morgan County Sheriff's Deputies say a family member found Stacey Hagood's body inside the couple's Lacey's Spring home.
Documents filed in Morgan County District Court state Stacey Hagood was found dead in the bedroom she shared with Rodney Hagood. Those documents state it appeared Stacey Hagood had head trauma.
Investigators stated Rodney Hagood told them he pushed Stacey during an argument and that she hit her head and died.
The couple has a history of domestic violence and the husband also had a history with drugs and alcohol.
Hagood was taken into custody Thursday evening. He was booked into the Morgan County jail in Decatur on a manslaughter charge.
