HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Huntsville Police responded to a robbery at the Dollar General on Meridian Street Friday morning.
Officials said a man armed with a gun robbed the Dollar General at 2210 Meridian Street just before 7:30 a.m.
Police said the offender demanded money from the safe. He was armed with a gun and made the manager go to the back of the store and open the safe.
The suspect was described as 160 lbs, wearing a gray hoodie, white or light shirt, black tennis shoes, black pants and had a blue bandana covering his face.
The offender stole an undisclosed amount of money. He left the scene with another offender in a 2005 Cadillac.
The Dollar General on Meridian Street was robbed.
