LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
The trial for a violent home invasion in Limestone County is over.
The suspect pleaded guilty.
Damian Lamar Mitchell was charged for a 2010 attack on an elderly couple in their home in Tanner.
He pleaded guilty to robbery, burglary, and kidnapping on Thursday.
He will serve a 30 year prison sentence
Mitchell was one of three people involved in the attack on Shirley and Charlotte Haney.
