Ala. House passes school flexibility bill

MONTGOMERY, AL (WAFF) - The Alabama House passed the school flexibility bill Thursday afternoon.

The bill will give city and county school boards more flexibility in complying with state education laws.

The flexibility for each school system will have to be approved by the State Board of Education.

The bill passed by a vote of 65 to 37. It now goes to the Senate.
