DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -
Two men were arrested after a witness called police regarding
a car break in.
Police said they responded to the 1500 block of 6th
Avenue when a caller reported seeing two men breaking into a delivery truck.
They stole a bank bag from the vehicle and then got into a
vehicle with a third person and drove off.
Officers stopped the vehicle before they could leave the
scene. A foot pursuit ensued.
Two of the suspects were caught. The getaway vehicle was not
found.
Officers did find a large amount of money which they said
came from the bank bag.
The suspects, Jashobean
Balli-Nuriddin and Prince Watts, were arrested and charged with breaking and
entering a vehicle.
