THIBODAUX, LA (WAFB) -
Charges
have been dropped against a man accused of slashing the tires of police cars.
District
Attorney Carn Movant says new information clears Glenn Watkins of the $7,000 worth
of property damage to units of the Thibodaux Police Department.
He and his
nephew, Jonathan Watkins, were accused of slashing the tires back in May 2011.
The younger
Watkins pleaded guilty last April to charges related to the incident.
