Four people escaped a fire at a Huntsville home early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters say the people who live in the house on Guenevere Avenue were in bed when they heard a "pop" sound just after midnight.
They found a fire in the kitchen.
Neighbors say they also heard the loud "pop" and called 911.
Crews said flames were shooting through the roof by the time they arrived. Firefighters fought the flames for about an hour and a half. Seven different trucks responded to the scene.
Four people escaped the home.
