HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police are looking for the men behind a home invasion along Brookline Drive.

The family was not injured during the robbery, but they were forced inside a bathroom by three armed men wearing bandanas over their faces.

The door at the home can barely close after the victims say three men forced their way inside and immediately ordered the family into a bathroom while they robbed the place.

Some neighbors said it is shocking, but others say it is not entirely unexpected, as they have been break-ins in the neighborhood.

One neighbor didn't want to be identified, but he said over the years this neighborhood has been riddled with crime.

One time, a homeowner turned the tables on a home invader when he grabbed his gun and fired shots as the suspect ran out.

This neighbor said they have a neighborhood watch group and he sees police patrol the area frequently because of past problems but knows there is always an opportunity.

It is unknown at this time what the three gunmen got away with.

If you have any information on this crime, call Huntsville Police.
