MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
Deputies are looking for a driver who led them on a chase that spanned two counties Sunday night.
The pursuit began in Lincoln County around 8:30 p.m. Sunday and ended when the car drove into a ditch on Elkwood Section Road in Madison County.
Deputies on the scene said the white, Honda Civic was stolen. They arrested and charged the passenger for receiving stolen property.
K-9 units searched for the driver, who was able to run from the scene. There were no reported injuries.
The Madison County Sheriff's Department is assisting the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department in the investigation.
The chase ended when the car went into a ditch.
