BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
Louisiana State Police is looking for the driver who killed a pedestrian and fled the scene early Monday morning.
The victim was identified as Tyrone Davis, 19, of Baker.
He was hit by a vehicle on Burbank Drive at Staring Lane in Baton Rouge a little after 3 a.m. According to reports, Davis was in the road when he was hit. Authorities said the driver continued westbound on Burbank after the crash.
Troopers said they believe the suspect was driving an early to mid-1980s Ford F-150. They added the truck may have been repainted aqua blue or teal and possibly has damage on the passenger side. Investigators pointed out the damage may be to the side headlight and grille.
