New Orleans Public Police announced adjustments to New
Orleans parades due to expected inclement weather.
The new parade schedules is as follows:
Sunday: Okeanos, Midcity and Thoth are all planning to begin
at their regularly scheduled times. All three parades will follow consecutively
with Okeanos starting at 10:30 a.m. All three parades will follow their normal
route until they reach Canal Street, at which they will turn right with traffic
towards the river to disband areas.
Monday: Proteus is expected to start at 4:30 p.m (45 minutes
early). Orpheus will follow Proteus and is expected to start at 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday: Rex and Zulu will roll at their traditional start times. No
changes have been made to the scheduled Tambourine and Fan event at Orleans and
Claiborne.
