Twins charged with UAH student's murder

HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police arrested a man and a woman for the shooting death of Jarrod Lockett.

Jovontai Qudruis Dickerson, and his twin sister, Javonta Qudaria Dickerson, were charged with murder for the December 4, 2012 shooting.

Lockett was shot in the head in the parking lot of Madison Garden Apartments and was transported to Huntsville Hospital.

He died on December 16, 2012. Lockett was set to graduate from UAH a few days after his death. His brother accepted his diploma.

The suspects are being held in the Metro Jail. Police did not release a motive in the case.
