RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
The Franklin County lawman charged with sexual abuse will be in court March 21.
Tharptown Constable Ray Hill is accused of sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl. Investigators say it happened while Hill was helping direct traffic at a brush fire in Tharptown in January 2012.
A special prosecutor for the State of Alabama filed a motion to have Hill impeached.
Hill won reelection in November 2012 after running unopposed for the position he's held for 22 years.
Hill's hearing will take place at the Franklin County Courthouse in Russellville.
