MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -
At least one person was taken to the hospital after a wreck Thursday night just before 8 p.m. on Ryland Pike at Moontown Road.
Officials said two cars wrecked but one of the cars left the scene.
Witnesses said MedFlight was called to the scene.
Authorities closed the intersection while they worked the wreck.
No names or conditions have been released at this time.
The cause of the wreck is under investigation. Officials are searching for the car that left the scene.
