DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A Morgan County judge granted a motion to try one of the three Krystal murder suspects separately.

Jordan Creque, Ezekiel Gholson, and Cassandra Eldred are charged with capital murder. Investigators say they shot and killed Jessie Aguilar and Jeff Graff during a robbery at the Decatur Krystal in 2011.

In a statement read in court, Eldred said Creque told her he needed $300 to pay a fine and that's why he robbed the restaurant.

Creque was an employee of the restaurant. Police say Creque told them he went to the drive through window and asked Jeff Graff to use the phone. Investigators say Graff let him in since he was a co-worker.

According to a warrant filed in this case, Creque forced Graff to open the safe at gun point and took the cash. The warrant also stated Creque forced his two co-workers into a cooler and fatally shot them.

Investigators say Gholston admitted to them he was the lookout. According to police Eldred admitted to driving the car.

Eldred will now be tried separately from Creque and Gholston.

Trial dates have not been set.

Gholston will be in court for an arraignment March 6. His arraignment was delayed while the judge considered youthful offender status. That request was denied.
