GADSDEN, AL (WAFF) -
19-year-old Trimez Orlando Usher from Gadsden was arrested Tuesday for first degree robbery for his involvement in a January 21 robbery in the 1000 block of Avenue H.
A 25-year-old woman told police that she was robbed at gunpoint while she and a friend went apartment hunting.
She said as she and her friend were leaving, two black males - one who was armed with a shotgun - got into her vehicle and demanded that she drive to Avenue G.
The men stole her laptop, checkbook and $110 in cash, then ran away.
The victim knew one of the suspects. Usher is being held at the Etowah County Jail on $50,000 bond.
