ATHENS, AL (WAFF) -
The man accused of killing a Limestone County woman and leaving her body in an abandoned school will go to trial April 29.
Lamar Anderson is charged with the 2011 murder of 26-year-old Wendy DeFoe.
Officers found DeFoe's body after responding to a call about clothing lying in a field near the old Trinity School building in Athens. The caller told officers it appeared there was a struggle near the school.
Anderson's trial will take place at the Limestone County Courthouse in Athens.
