HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
The Harris Home for Children in Huntsville needs your help. They're trying to raise $100,000 in 90 days to help enhance the quality of life for each young resident. The Harris Home provides care to foster children. It's been around since 1954.
At their Brick for Brick kickoff campaign on Tuesday, the Executive Director of Harris Home encouraged everyone to give, but reached out specifically to churches leaders. Brain Mayfield, the Lead Pastor at The Brook in Madison, said his congregation has been helping the group and encouraged others to join in.
Mayfield said every little bit helps.
"A small gift, if many of those come in, it can make an enormous difference and really impact the lives of these kids," he said.
