Shale Gas Fracking is transforming the Polyolefins Industry in the USA. The 2013 Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) International Polyolefins Conference will discuss "The Polyolefin Renaissance" at Hilton Houston North Hotel (12400 Greenspoint Drive) in Houston, Texas on February 24-27, 2013.
Over 600 technical experts and business professionals are anticipated, attracted to the conference by 64 exhibitor booths, 86 technical papers, a Sunday afternoon Tutorial on Polyolefin Stabilization and Additives, and two evening networking receptions. Fourteen sessions will cover topics ranging from current trends , technology , and Industry Investments, to Catalyst and Process Advances, New Polyolefin Resins & Applications, Rotational Molding Technology and Applications, Advancements in Polyolefin Nanotechnology, Strategies in Managing Innovation, and more. Keynote speakers will include Nick Vafiadis from IHS, Fuji Fujita from Mitsubishi Chemical, Sri Iyer from Braskem, Tim Roberts from LyondellBasell, and Michel Daumerie from Borealis.
