SORRENTO, LA (WAFB) -
Traffic coming from New Orleans on I-10 West is backed up after the interstate was closed for about an hour and a half.
Officials have reopened I-10 West in Ascension Parish. All lanes are open I-10 West at Mile Post 181. The detour at LA 22 (Sorrento) has been cleared. The queue from this incident has reached US 61 (Airline Hwy).
The interstate was closed so a tow truck could recover an 18-wheeler.
