HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Hundreds of parents, along with their kids, attended a learning expo Saturday at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.
The event, sponsored by the Space and Rocket Center and Rocket City Mom, helped parents explore different educational options for their children.
Representatives from 40 local independent schools, pre-schools and home schooling organizations were there to answer any questions parents had.
"Today was just a way to provide parents with the information - through the guest speakers, entertainments and different tables. They could ask all the questions they needed answered about the future of their child's education," said Carolyne Bradford, director of The Rise School of Huntsville.
The event wasn't just for the parents, kids were able to enjoy face painting and performances.
