A man on trial for the murder his father suddenly changed his plea.
Brian Martin stunned the court by pleading guilty to manslaughter late Friday afternoon.
Jurors heard a full week of testimony in his case and had just begun deliberations when the announcement was made.
He'll be sentenced to 10 years and agreed not to appeal.
He'll begin serving his sentence in two weeks. Until then, he has to wear an ankle monitor.
