Huntsville, AL (WAFF) - The Huntsville Havoc are dealing with more roster shuffling this week.
The Las Vegas Wranglers sent forward Kyle Laughlin back down this week after he spent four games out west. "We're excited to have Kyle back in our lineup." said head coach Glenn Detulleo. "He brings some veteran leadership to our group as well as an offensive spark." Upon news of Laughlin's return, forward Tyler Noseworthy was waived.
Unfortunately, with the good news comes some bad. Justin Fox, who was 2nd on the team with 11 goals and 11 assists, has been called up to join the Tulsa Oilers of the CHL. As of right now, the coach says he's working to see if he'll need another body to fill Fox's position, but he'll likely go into the weekend a man short.
The Havoc only have one game this weekend, a Saturday night affair with the Knoxville Ice Bears. "We're looking forward to the challenge of beating Knoxville in their building." Deulleo said. "It's always a great atmosphere and we know it will take our best game to get the job done."
Also worth mentioning - former Havoc goalie and Huntsville fan favorite Nick Niedert is back in the SPHL. He signed a deal with Augusta on Wednesday.
