Darton athletics recognized as top program

ALBANY, GA -

If you're a Southwest Georgia high school athlete thinking about taking your talents to a junior college or two year school. You don't have to go far to find one of the nation's top sports programs .

The Darton State College athletics program has been named the number 5 program in the nation for fall sports by the National Alliance to two year college athletic administrators. The Cavaliers won the 2012 Region 17 Championships in all of their fall sports for the second consecutive year. Both soccer teams and both cross country teams won their region championships.

The Cavaliers were ranked 3rd nationally in winter sports last year.
