MERIDIANVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Several cars were broken into overnight in a Meridianville neighborhood.
Madison County Sheriff's deputies are looking into at least three reported car break-ins that happened on or near Bellhurst Road.
Bellhurst resident Kyle Barker discovered someone smashed the window of his Toyota Camry when he was on his way to school Monday morning.
Barker said no items were stolen. His father's pick-up truck was apparently also targeted, according to Barker.
A deputy dusted both vehicles for fingerprints but none appeared. He said whoever broke into the vehicles was likely wearing gloves.
A resident who lives two blocks east on Fernglen Circle said someone broke into her grandson's pick-up truck and took the radio and an iPod from the glove compartment.
"I'm sure whoever did this has done it before because it's too much of an experienced job," Pat Petty said.
No word yet on suspects or arrests. The cases are under investigation.
