BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -
A Powerball ticket worth $10,000 has gone unclaimed since the Aug. 29, 2012, drawing.
Louisiana Lottery officials say it was purchased at a business on Poydras Street in New Orleans last year.
And if it remains unclaimed, it will expire on Feb. 25.
The Lottery says in a Friday news release that the ticket, bought at a business called "Just For You," matched four of the five white numbered balls, plus the Powerball. The winning numbers for that drawing were 25 - 28 - 49 - 54 - 56 and the Powerball number was 28.
Winners of the Lottery's draw-style games must claim their prize within 180 days of the drawing.
