EBR Parish School System asking for parent input on school calendar

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

With the development of a new proposed school year calendar underway, the East Baton Rouge Parish School System is asking for parents, students and community members to share their opinions during the planning process.

The district has posted a link on its website, www.ebrschools.org, to a short survey regarding a proposed 2013-2014 School Year Calendar.

Anyone wishing to participate in the survey can click on the message on the website's home page and fill it out electronically.

If someone would like to fill out the survey but does not have access to a computer or the Internet, they can call (225) 922-5611 for a hard copy of the survey.

    Three adult males and one juvenile were arrested in Limestone County on Thursday after a four-hour manhunt and charged with multiple counts stemming from a string of vehicle thefts.Three adult males and one juvenile were arrested in Limestone County on Thursday after a four-hour manhunt and charged with multiple counts stemming from a string of vehicle thefts.

    A ground search ensued that lasted about four hours and covered approximately six miles, ending a few hundred yards east of Hays Mill Road where the suspects were caught in a hunting stand/shoot house.
